Rockstar Games hasn’t revealed whether physical copies of GTA 6 will include any special collectibles, but Walmart may have something interesting planned for players who pre-order the game. A new listing suggests that customers buying the physical PS5 and Xbox Series X|S versions will receive a mystery gift alongside their purchase.
The listing has caught the attention of GTA fans because previous retailer information hinted that physical editions could include a Vice City-themed map. While Walmart hasn’t revealed what’s inside its mystery package, the promotion has sparked fresh speculation about possible physical bonuses.
GTA 6 Walmart Pre-Orders Come With a Surprise Gift
According to a listing screenshot shared by X user Nintendeal on November 2, 2026, Walmart is advertising a special offer for GTA 6 physical pre-orders.
The promotion mentions a “Surprise and Delight” bag for customers purchasing the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S versions. The offer is available while supplies last, and Walmart describes the package as a General Merchandise Delivery (GMD) bag containing mystery goodies.
The retailer has not disclosed the contents of the package.
Walmart reportedly plans to ship these mystery bonuses starting November 12, 2026, which is also when GTA 6 pre-loading is expected to begin.
Importantly, the mystery package isn’t a replacement for the game. However, players shouldn’t expect to find a physical disc inside the box, as the physical editions are reportedly expected to include a digital download code instead.

What Could Be Inside Walmart’s GTA 6 Mystery Bag?
Walmart hasn’t provided any clues about the contents, leaving players to guess what the retailer might include.
Some fans believe the package could contain simple refreshments, such as soda or a can of Pringles. Walmart previously offered similar promotional goodies during the Nintendo Switch 2 launch, making snacks a reasonable possibility.
However, GTA 6 is one of the biggest upcoming game releases, so players are hoping for something more exciting.
A few possibilities include:
- Vice City-themed merchandise: Small collectibles inspired by GTA 6’s fictional setting.
- Physical map: A printed map of Leonida or Vice City, something longtime GTA fans would appreciate.
- Promotional collectibles: Stickers, postcards, keychains, or other branded items.
- Snacks and refreshments: Simple goodies packed inside Walmart’s promotional delivery bag.
Of course, these are only fan theories. Walmart hasn’t confirmed whether the mystery bag contains gaming merchandise, snacks, or something else entirely.
Could GTA 6 Physical Copies Include a Vice City Map?
The mystery bag promotion has also brought attention back to an earlier GTA 6 physical edition rumor.
In October 2026, a GameStop listing reportedly hinted that physical copies of GTA 6 could include a collectible map. That possibility excited longtime fans, especially those who remember the detailed maps included with earlier Grand Theft Auto releases.
A physical map would be a welcome addition, particularly for players who enjoy collecting Rockstar Games memorabilia. It could also make the physical edition feel more special despite the reported absence of a traditional game disc.
However, there is no confirmation that Walmart’s mystery package contains this map. The GameStop listing and Walmart promotion are separate pieces of retailer information, and players shouldn’t assume they’re connected.
For now, the possibility of receiving a Vice City map remains speculation.

Will Walmart’s GTA 6 Mystery Bag Include a Physical Map?
A physical Vice City map would certainly be more exciting than a bag of snacks, but there’s currently no solid evidence that Walmart plans to include one.
The earlier GameStop listing has given fans a reason to hope for physical collectibles, while Walmart’s latest promotion adds another interesting possibility. Still, Rockstar Games hasn’t officially announced any physical bonuses, and Walmart hasn’t disclosed what its mystery package contains.
We’ll have to wait until November 12 to see what Walmart actually sends to GTA 6 buyers.
