Pocketpair just rolled out a new patch for Palworld, and it’s a solid one if you’ve been getting kicked out of Panthalus fights or dealing with broken achievements.
The update lands as version 1.0.2 on PC, while console players will see it show up as update 1.100.933. Either way, it’s the same patch, and it’s a smaller download focused on stability rather than new content.
This matters because several of these bugs were breaking multiplayer sessions outright, especially during major boss fights. If you run a dedicated server or play with friends regularly, this patch cleans up some genuinely frustrating issues.

What’s New in Palworld Update 1.100.933
Pocketpair pushed this update on July 28, and it touches almost every part of the game, from crash fixes to UI cleanup. Here’s a full breakdown of what changed.
Crash and Disconnection Fixes
The biggest fixes in this Palworld patch target the Panthalus battle, one of Palworld’s tougher boss encounters.
- Players on dedicated servers were getting disconnected entirely during the Panthalus fight. That’s fixed now.
- A separate crash bug during the same battle has also been resolved.
- The game could also crash when players tried typing in Japanese while in fullscreen mode. That’s patched too.
If you’ve avoided hosting Panthalus fights on your dedicated server because of random disconnects, this update should make that fight playable again.

Multiplayer Fixes
Several bugs affecting co-op play got addressed:
- Terrain in The World Tree area could fail to load correctly for the host if a player was already standing in that zone when the host arrived.
- The Tower Boss known as Victor & Shadowbeak could vanish mid-fight after using a teleport attack. That disappearing act is now fixed.
- During the final boss fight, if the host beat the boss while a guest player was mid-respawn, the guest’s lighting could break. Pocketpair fixed that visual glitch as well.
Mission Fixes
Two missions had a dialogue bug where the screen would stay faded to black if a cutscene got interrupted mid-fade.
- The First Islander (main mission)
- Captured Adventurer (sub-mission)
Both are fixed, so players won’t get stuck staring at a black screen anymore.
Achievement Fixes
Achievement hunters got some love in this patch too. The “Predator Hunter” achievement was failing to unlock even when players met all the requirements, and that’s now fixed.
A similar issue affected an achievement tied to collecting Pal Effigies, which also failed to trigger properly before. Xbox players will notice two Lifmunk Effigy achievement icons have been updated, since the old ones were outdated versions.

Graphics and Display Fixes
Mac players dealing with badly distorted terrain in The World Tree area should see a real improvement, since that bug made the area nearly unplayable and it’s now fixed.
There’s also a fix for a visual bug where certain face types caused the player character’s eyes to render incorrectly during cutscenes or specific actions.
Controls Update
Pocketpair added two new key rebinding options in this patch:
- “Attack that enemy!” command
- Inventory shortcut
Beyond the new bindings, the team fixed a handful of control conflict bugs, including one where importing settings from versions before v0.7 could falsely flag unrelated changes as control conflicts. A separate bug where binding an action to the middle mouse button triggered false conflict warnings has also been resolved, and the missing Inventory Shortcut option in the Controls menu is back.
UI and Performance Improvements
Mining now shows accurate damage numbers when breaking ore, since it could previously display 0 even when damage was dealt.
Pocketpair also optimized performance in the Sunreach region, cutting down the processing load during gameplay there. Players exploring that area should notice smoother frame rates as a result.

Is Palworld Getting New Content Soon?
Pocketpair hasn’t announced a major content update alongside this patch. This release focuses entirely on bug fixes, stability, and quality-of-life tweaks rather than new Pals, biomes, or story content.
Fans are hoping for a bigger content drop before the year wraps up, but nothing official has been confirmed yet.
Final Thoughts
Palworld Update 1.100.933 might not add flashy new content, but it fixes real problems that were actively breaking multiplayer sessions and boss fights. If you’ve had trouble finishing the Panthalus battle or unlocking certain achievements, this is a good time to jump back in.
