PlayStation just announced its July lineup for PlayStation Plus members, and there’s a lot to like here if you’re into shooters, co-op RPGs, or classic-style 2D action.
The new PlayStation Plus games go live on Tuesday, July 7, and members have until Monday, August 3, to grab them before they rotate out.
Here’s everything coming to PlayStation this month.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III (Cross-Gen Bundle) – PS5, PS4

This is the standout addition to PlayStation Plus this time around. Modern Warfare III continues the story from the record-breaking Modern Warfare II, with Captain Price and Task Force 141 chasing down Vladimir Makarov as he spreads his influence across the globe.
Multiplayer brings a nice throwback for longtime PlayStation players. All 16 maps that launched with the original Modern Warfare 2 back in 2009 are returning, rebuilt with better graphics, new modes, and some added gameplay features.
Zombies mode also gets an upgrade. It’s now open-world PvE, and for the first time in the series, squads can team up with other squads on what’s being called the largest Zombies map to date.

For the King II – PS5, PS4

Once loved by her people, Queen Rosomon has turned against them, forcing her subjects into the mines of Fahrul while striking deals with darker forces behind the scenes.
PlayStation players can take her on solo or bring three friends for four-player co-op as they push through Fahrul to end her rule.
If you played the original For the King, the roguelite-meets-tabletop formula will feel familiar. This sequel runs on an upgraded engine, giving both returning fans and new PlayStation players a smoother, more refined experience.
CrossCode – PS5, PS4

CrossCode brings 16-bit visuals to PlayStation, but the combat underneath feels far more modern than the art style lets on.
It blends genres well, mixing puzzle-heavy dungeons in the style of classic action-adventure games with the gear and skill progression of a full RPG.
Combat centers on using collected tools to expose enemy weaknesses, and there’s plenty of room to build out your character however you like. A solid sci-fi story runs through the whole experience too.
Availability on PlayStation
All three titles are free for PlayStation Plus members starting July 7 and stay available through August 3. Availability can vary slightly by region, so it’s worth checking the PlayStation Store on release day to confirm what’s live in your area.
