Rockstar Games has finally revealed the official cover art for Grand Theft Auto 6, and fans have wasted no time analyzing every inch of it. At first glance, it looks like classic GTA artwork. But if you take a closer look, the nine-panel design is packed with hidden details, returning themes, new characters, vehicles, and possible story clues.
From armed helicopters and mystery characters to expensive supercars and familiar wildlife, there’s a lot more going on than meets the eye.

A Sea Sparrow Helicopter Returns
Just like every Grand Theft Auto cover since GTA 3, GTA 6 features a helicopter in the upper-left panel.
This time, Rockstar has chosen the Sea Sparrow, an amphibious helicopter that first appeared in the original GTA: Vice City and later returned in GTA Online.
The helicopter flies over GTA 6’s colorful version of Vice City, but one detail immediately stands out. It has a mounted minigun attached to its side.
That isn’t standard equipment for a utility helicopter, which raises an interesting possibility. Rockstar may allow players to customize aircraft with weapon upgrades, similar to how helicopters can be modified in GTA Online.
Jason and Lucia Take Center Stage
The biggest panel naturally belongs to GTA 6’s two protagonists, Jason Duvall and Lucia Caminos.
According to Rockstar, Jason grew up around criminals before joining the Army in an attempt to leave his troubled past behind. Eventually, he found himself working with drug runners in the Leonida Keys.

Behind the pair, palm trees stretch across the skyline, giving the artwork the same iconic Florida-inspired atmosphere seen throughout GTA 6’s promotional material.

The New Sports Bike Could Be Fully Customizable
Another eye-catching panel shows a rider performing a wheelie on a brightly colored sports motorcycle.
The bike appears to be the Principe Alvino V1, a brand-new motorcycle that first appeared in screenshots released in May 2025.
Unlike Jason’s green version, this motorcycle features vibrant pink and purple paint along with racing-style decals.
Its custom livery suggests that vehicle customization could be much deeper in GTA 6 than previous games, especially if Vice City Customs returns with expanded options.
Driving beside the rider is an updated Vapid Police Cruiser.

She’s wearing a turquoise football jersey that closely resembles the colors of the Miami Dolphins. In GTA 6’s universe, the team is known as the Vice City Manatees, which Rockstar already revealed in Trailer 2.

Another displays “305,” the real-world area code for Miami.
Her necklace says “Siempre,” which translates to “Always” in Spanish.
She’s drinking what appears to be GTA’s parody version of White Claw hard seltzer, with the visible branding reading “Thaw.”
The wider version of Rockstar’s artwork also reveals The Atoll Bar and Grill behind her, a brand-new location that hasn’t appeared in either trailer.

The Alligator Represents the Dangerous Grassrivers
Perhaps the most unexpected addition to any GTA cover art is a giant alligator.
The reptile represents Grassrivers, one of GTA 6’s major regions.
Rockstar describes Grassrivers as the untamable jewel of Leonida, filled with dangerous wildlife far beyond just alligators.
Previously released screenshots showed hunters exploring these wetlands with rifles, hinting that wildlife activities or hunting missions could become a meaningful part of the game’s world.
Players may want to think twice before wandering too deep into the swamp.
Boobie Ike Shows Off His Empire
Another familiar face from the trailers is Boobie Ike.
Rockstar describes him as a Vice City legend who transformed his street life into a legitimate business empire.
He owns the Jack of Hearts strip club and co-runs Only Raw Records alongside Dre’Quan Priest.
The cover art even highlights his large gold ring featuring a crowned lion, perhaps symbolizing how he views himself as one of Leonida’s most powerful figures.
Based on Rockstar’s character description, Boobie could become both an ally and an obstacle during GTA 6’s story.
The Yellow Supercar Is a Modern GTA Icon
No GTA cover would feel complete without an exotic supercar.
The bottom-left panel features a bright yellow Pegassi model with dramatic scissor doors.
Although Rockstar hasn’t officially named it, fans believe it’s a brand-new Pegassi vehicle heavily inspired by the Lamborghini Aventador.

He’s holding a Duke assault rifle, which is particularly interesting.
Duke was previously a weapons manufacturer found only in the Red Dead Redemption universe. GTA 6 marks the first time the company has crossed into Rockstar’s HD-era GTA games.
Several Duke firearms also appeared throughout GTA 6’s trailers, including assault rifles, revolvers, sniper rifles, and other weapons.
Behind Raul sits Sinfrontera National Bank, making it highly likely that players will participate in at least one major bank robbery during the campaign.
The bank’s name translates from Spanish as “Without Borders,” and it may be inspired by Florida’s City National Bank, known for its connections between the United States, Spain, and Chile.
The Boat Hints at More Water Exploration
The final panel pays tribute to another classic Vice City cover element.
A Clarion speedboat races across Leonida’s waterways while carrying several passengers.
Clarion is a completely new boat manufacturer introduced for GTA 6, and this model appears heavily inspired by the real-world Cigarette Top Gun performance boat.
Flying overhead is a flamingo, suggesting the boat is traveling near Grassrivers, the game’s version of Florida’s Everglades, where these birds naturally live.
