Keep It Under 12 Chars
Most platforms cap usernames at 12–16 characters. Short names are easier to remember, faster to type in chats, and look cleaner on scoreboards.
Avoid Excessive Numbers
Numbers like "1234" at the end signal the name was taken. Try a single meaningful number (your birth year, a favourite jersey number) instead.
Make It Sound Loud
Hard consonants (K, X, Z, V) make names feel aggressive and memorable. "Krix" lands harder than "Bree". Say it out loud — if it sounds powerful, use it.
Check Availability First
Before committing, check the name on Steam, Xbox, PSN, and Discord. Claim it everywhere at once — even platforms you don't use yet — to protect your brand.
