A brand-new action-adventure game titled The Age of Bhaarat has officially been revealed, and it’s already making waves for its deep roots in Indian mythology and storytelling. Developed by Tara Gaming Limited, the game is a passion project from an unexpected trio—veteran game producer Nouredine Abboud (Ghost Recon), celebrated author Amish Tripathi (Shiva Trilogy), and legendary actor Amitabh Bachchan.

The announcement trailer showcases a visually rich world inspired by ancient Indian epics like the Ramayan. Players will take on the role of a Forest Warden from Anandpur, a warrior empowered by divine forces, tasked with defending the land from Rakshasa invaders. The game blends fast-paced combat, mystical powers, and a unique grappling hook mechanic for vertical movement—something that adds a dynamic edge to gameplay.

What sets The Age of Bhaarat apart is its narrative focus. Written by Amish Tripathi, the story promises choices that affect the outcome, touching on themes of honor, betrayal, and destiny. While the trailer is still labeled as pre-alpha footage, early reactions from fans are hopeful, calling it India’s answer to Black Myth: Wukong.

The game will be available on PC and consoles, though a release date hasn’t been confirmed yet. It’s currently up for wishlisting on Steam and the Epic Games Store.
