PlayStation appears to have quietly cancelled nearly all of its remaining 2025 U.S. tour dates for PlayStation: The Concert, the live orchestral event celebrating the brand’s three-decade history.
PlayStation: The Concert is a symphonic show that features music from some of the company’s most iconic franchises, including The Last of Us, Horizon, Ghost of Tsushima, and God of War. The show’s score includes compositions from acclaimed artists such as Gustavo Santaolalla, Joris De Man, Ilan Eshkeri, and Bear McCreary, among others.
The concert tour debuted in the United Kingdom earlier this year, with performances in cities including London and Glasgow. While the launch was met with enthusiasm, the tour’s subsequent legs appear to have faced significant challenges.
Organisers Confirm Cancellations
In a statement issued to VGC on October 6, 2025, organisers GEA Live officially confirmed that all remaining North American dates for PlayStation: The Concert have been cancelled.
“It is with great regret that we have cancelled the PlayStation: The Concert 2025 tour dates in North America,” a GEA Live spokesperson said.
“Our team has spent a considerable amount of time developing this project, and we share in the disappointment of fans who will no longer be able to attend. We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who supported the show and appreciate your understanding in making this difficult decision.”
Europe Tour Also Affected
The concert’s European leg had already shown signs of trouble in recent months. Multiple events were reportedly cancelled in Poland, Sweden, Norway, and Italy, while other planned stops in Germany and Budapest were postponed until the summer of 2026.
Fans had hoped the U.S. dates would proceed as planned, but signs of cancellations started surfacing over the weekend. Several ticket holders took to social media to report receiving cancellation notices for 2025 shows in Atlanta, Cleveland, Detroit, and Charlotte.
Ticketmaster Listings Removed
A review of Ticketmaster listings indicates that previously scheduled 2025 shows in New York, Reading, Washington D.C., Grand Rapids, Huntsville, Chicago, Boston, and Philadelphia have also been removed or marked as cancelled.
Currently, only one event – in Red Bank, New Jersey, on November 11 – still lists standard (non-resale) tickets for sale. However, the vast majority of seats remain unsold as of this writing, raising further doubts about whether the show will proceed as planned.
Future Shows Still Listed for 2026
Despite the widespread cancellations, PlayStation: The Concert still has over 25 performances listed for early 2026, with venues in San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Toronto among those currently on sale.
According to the official tour website, the production is also set to appear at the Brasil Game Show this weekend, along with a Detroit performance on November 7. However, Ticketmaster currently shows no available non-resale tickets for the Detroit show.
It remains unclear whether the 2026 shows will go ahead as planned or face similar postponements. As of now, neither PlayStation nor GEA Live has provided further clarification regarding the future of the tour.
