Grow a Garden 2 Badges Guide Full List and How to Unlock Every One

Grow a Garden 2 is not just about planting seeds and watching them grow. The game has come a long way with a new stealing mechanic, fresh seeds, pets with their own abilities, cosmetics, and gears to collect. And if you are the type who loves chasing milestones, the badge system gives you a real reason to keep grinding.

There are 23 known badges right now. Some are quick wins that you can knock out in your first few minutes. Others will have you staring at a plant for what feels like an actual eternity. Either way, knowing what to chase makes the whole thing a lot more fun.

Here is everything you need to know.

What Are Badges in Grow a Garden 2?

Badges are in-game achievements tied to specific tasks you complete while playing. Think of them as a record of what you have accomplished. Planted your first seed? There is a badge for that. Managed to steal a fruit from another player’s garden? Badge. Grew a plant taller than 1000 feet? There is a badge for that too, though getting there is a whole different story.

They do not just sit in a menu either. Badges track your overall progress and give you something to work toward when the regular farming loop starts feeling routine.

Which Badges Are Easy and Which Ones Actually Take Work?

The early badges are designed to be beginner-friendly. First Seed, First Pet, We are so back, Builder, and Egg Hatcher are things you will probably earn without even thinking about them. Just play the game normally and they will come.

The weight badges (5kg through 100kg) are a step up in difficulty. You need to invest time in the right seeds and growing conditions, but they are absolutely doable with some patience.

Then there are the height badges. The 10ft and 25ft milestones are fine. But 500ft? 1000ft? Those are serious time commitments. Getting a plant to 1000 feet is one of the most grinding tasks in the entire game, and it is not something you will pull off in a casual session.

The Rainbow fruit badge and the OMG its HUGE badge are also up there in terms of rarity. Rainbow fruits are rare mutations, and HUGE pets are not exactly easy to come by either. These are the badges that separate the casual players from the people who are clearly playing this game a lot more than they probably should be. No judgment.

One badge worth mentioning separately is the OG Badge. This one you either have or you do not. It was only available during the game’s first week, so if you missed that window, it is permanently off the table.

What Is the Hardest Badge in Grow a Garden 2?

Currently, the three hardest badges to unlock are the 1000ft Plant, Rainbow, and OMG its HUGE. All three require either rare mutations, rare pet hatches, or a significant amount of time spent actively growing and nurturing your garden. If you have any of these right now, that is genuinely impressive.

Which Badge Should You Go For Next?

If you are just starting out, focus on the beginner badges first and get a feel for the game mechanics. Once you are comfortable, start working toward the weight milestones and mid-range height badges. Save the 500ft and 1000ft grinds for when you have a solid setup with good seeds and pets that support plant growth.

And if you want a little head start, keep an eye out for active Grow a Garden 2 codes. Redeeming codes can hand you freebies that make some of these challenges a bit less painful.
