Xbox just dropped the full Wave 1 lineup for Game Pass June 2026, and there is a lot to unpack. Nine new games are coming before mid-month, three of them are Day One releases, one is a fan-favorite JRPG returning to the library, and the monthly price is now lower than it has been in a long time. If you have been on the fence about subscribing, this might be the month to do it.

Here is everything confirmed so far.

Microsoft officially announced nine titles for the first half of June 2026. Seven are brand-new additions to the library, and two are expanded releases arriving on the Premium tier.

Here is the complete Wave 1 schedule:

  • Herdling (Cloud, Xbox Series X|S, PC) – June 4
  • Solarpunk (Cloud, Console, PC) – June 8
  • Undisputed (Cloud, Console, PC) – June TBD
  • Persona 5 Royal (Cloud, Console, PC) – June TBD
  • Starseeker: Astroneer Expeditions (Cloud, Console, PC) – June 11 (Day One)
  • Frog Sqwad (Cloud, Console, PC) – June 11 (Day One)
  • Beastro (Cloud, Console, PC) – June 11 (Day One)
  • Junkster (TBD) – June TBD

June 11 is shaping up to be the biggest single day of the wave. Three Day One games land on the same date, and one of them will be the 100th new title added to Game Pass in 2026.

Persona 5 Royal Is Back

Persona 5 Royal left Game Pass a while back, and a lot of subscribers were unhappy about it. It is now returning to Cloud, Console, and PC.

For anyone unfamiliar, Persona 5 Royal is one of the best JRPGs of the last decade. It is a long one (over 100 hours if you want to see everything), but the story, characters, and turn-based combat system hold up extremely well. If you missed it the first time around, this is worth your time.

What’s Leaving Game Pass on June 15

Five titles are getting cut from the library when June 15 arrives:

  • Jurassic World Evolution 2
  • Lost in Random: The Eternal Die
  • Scott Pilgrim vs. The World
  • Warhammer 40K Space Marine: Master Crafted Edition
  • Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge

If you have TMNT: Shredder’s Revenge or Scott Pilgrim still on your to-play list, get them done before the 15th.

Xbox Game Pass Price Just Got Cheaper

Microsoft lowered the price of Game Pass this month, and the new rates are already live.

  • Xbox Game Pass Ultimate: $22.99/month (down from $29.99)
  • PC Game Pass: $13.99/month (down from $16.49)

New Xbox CEO Asha Sharma confirmed in an internal memo that acquisitions and retention have both improved since the price cut. The cheaper pricing is part of a broader effort to win back subscribers after a major price hike at the end of 2025.

One catch worth knowing: as part of the restructured deal, new Call of Duty games will not be added to Game Pass for at least a year.

Xbox Games Showcase Is June 7

Before Wave 2 even gets announced, Xbox has a big showcase lined up. The Xbox Games Showcase and the Gears of War: E-Day Direct both take place on June 7. More Game Pass additions are likely to get announced there, so the Wave 1 list could grow after the weekend.

Wave 2 Coming Mid-Month

Microsoft will reveal the Wave 2 lineup around June 15. That announcement will also confirm which Day One releases and third-party titles are coming in the second half of June 2026.

Keep checking back on GamerUrge for the full Wave 2 breakdown as soon as Microsoft drops it.
