ARC Raiders Patch 1.24.0 is now live on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S, fixing major crashes, the Vanguard Set visual bug, blurry AMD FSR frame generation, accidental consumable activations, and a zipline exploit. The update also adds two new cosmetic sets and serves as the final patch before the free Riven Tides content update expected at the end of April 2026.
If you’ve been running into crashes or weird glitches in ARC Raiders lately, good news – Embark Studios just dropped Patch 1.24.0, and it tackles some of the most annoying issues players have been dealing with.
The update is live right now on all platforms. PC players just need to restart the game, while console players will spot it as update 1.000.036 on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
Here’s everything you need to know.
ARC Raiders Patch 1.24.0 Crash Fixes Explained
The biggest win in this ARC Raiders patch is stability. Embark has addressed several issues that were causing the game to crash unexpectedly, which had been frustrating players across all platforms.
This isn’t the first time the studio has chased crash fixes, but Patch 1.24.0 goes further than previous attempts. If you’ve been dropping out of raids without warning, things should feel noticeably smoother after this update.
That Vanguard Set Bug? Gone
Last week’s ARC Raiders Patch 1.23.0 introduced the Vanguard Set, a slick new cosmetic that players were excited to grab. But it came with a pretty embarrassing problem — equipping it caused your character model to stretch and distort in a way that looked completely broken to other players.
ARC Raiders Patch 1.24.0 officially kills that bug. Your Vanguard Set should now display correctly for everyone in the lobby.
Audio and Visual Issues Also Squashed
A couple of smaller but still noticeable bugs have also been cleaned up.
On Stella Montis, players and ARC enemies were sounding strangely quiet when out of line of sight. That audio inconsistency has now been corrected, so combat should feel more natural again.
On the visual side, players using AMD FSR Frame Generation were seeing blurry graphics in-game. That issue has been resolved too, which is a relief for anyone running an AMD setup.
No More Accidental Bandage Activations
Here is one that many players probably experienced without fully understanding why it was happening.
If you quickly swapped to a consumable like a bandage and then pressed fire to interrupt the action, the item could activate on its own anyway. In the middle of a tense raid, accidentally burning through your heals at the wrong moment was a real problem.
That exploit is now patched. Your consumables will only activate when you actually want them to.
A Zipline Exploit Is Also Patched
Competitive integrity gets a small boost too. A sneaky exploit that let players place ziplines on carriable objects near ledge edges has been removed. It was a niche trick, but one that could give players an unfair advantage in the right situations.
Two New Cosmetic Sets in the Shop
Beyond fixes, Patch 1.24.0 also brings two new cosmetic sets to the in-game store: the Nascosto Set and the Scrappy Speckled Set. If you’ve been saving up your coins, now is a good time to check what’s available.
Weather Monitor Station Project Rewards Are Being Sent Out
If you contributed to the Weather Monitor Station Project during the Shrouded Sky update but the project never fully completed, do not worry. Embark is sending rewards directly to your in-game inbox over the next few days.
Also worth noting: the High-Gain Antenna Project will expire before the Riven Tides update arrives. If you want those rewards, make sure you wrap it up soon.
Riven Tides Is Coming at the End of April
ARC Raiders Patch 1.24.0 is also the final update before a major one. Embark Studios has confirmed that the Riven Tides update is landing at the end of April, with Tuesday, April 28, 2026, being the most likely date based on the studio’s consistent release schedule.
Riven Tides will bring a brand-new map, a new map condition, and more new content, all free for existing players. There will be a store rotation next week, but no game update as the team focuses on polishing Riven Tides.
Ready to Jump Back In?
ARC Raiders Patch 1.24.0 might be one of the smaller updates in terms of content, but it clears the path for what looks like a big Riven Tides launch. Stability improvements and bug fixes like these matter more than they get credit for.
Log in, check your inbox for any project rewards, and get your raids in before the map changes everything.
